About Flywell Sourcing

Independent automotive flywheel procurement. Separate buyer, coordinator and supplier responsibilities. Manufacturing claims and balance reports belong to the actual supplier and the identified flywheel.

Decision pointBuyer / supplier question
What buyers controlApplication requirements, optional USD budget (per piece or whole order), quantity, dual-mass versus single-mass intent and acceptance of a sample or lot.
What the service coordinatesClarifying crankshaft and clutch interfaces, tooth count and diameter; requesting comparable factory information; lining up quotation line items so packing, freight and documents can be reviewed together.
What suppliers confirmFitment references, construction type, included hardware, balance method statements, sample terms and shipment commitments for the named part only.
What remains openNo own-factory identity, authorization, customer count, stock figure or savings claim is implied. Interchange without a drawing and application statement stays unverified.

Flywell Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner for automotive flywheels and fixing-bolt packages sold into US wholesale, workshop and fleet channels. We organize aftermarket flywheel manufacturers questions around engine and transmission mating, ring-gear tooth count, outer diameter, inertia intent and clutch installation face. We do not machine flywheels, run a balance laboratory or license vehicle-maker brands.

Clutch kits that bundle pressure plates and discs belong to a separate procurement scope. When a quotation mixes a dual-mass flywheel with clutch components, we ask suppliers to split line items so packing, freight and sample terms stay comparable. Review the custom manufacturing checklist when interface drawings matter, then share the requirement.
